The Best Gowns and Dresses from the 2021 Emmy Awards Red Carpet
Lovers of red carpet fashion are being spoiled this September. NYFW rounded out with the resumption of the annual Met Gala on September 13, and now, less than a week later, another star studded carpet with the 73rd annual Primetime Emmy Awards in LA on Sunday, September 19. The awards show—hosted this year by Cedric the Entertainer— rounds out the usual red carpet season with a toast to the best and the brightest of television and film made for TV. And that means, incredible gowns and tuxes, and a parade a moments from the cast members and nominees from some of our most favorite shows, from Olivia Colman, Gillian Anderson, and Emerald Fennell (from the Soho House celebration in London) from The Crown, to newlywed Lily Collins from Emily in Paris. And while red carpet mainstay Jennifer Aniston is confirmed to not be in attendance tonight, oodles of stars are dressed to the nines in exquisite gowns and staggeringly beautiful jewels.
Of course, the 2021 red carpet for the Emmys is no exception—replete with magical fashion moments that we will surely hold onto as fashion inspiration until next year. From Rita Wilson in sparkling Tom Ford suiting, to pink voluminous gowns, and every fabulous tulle moment in between here are the best dresses from the 2021 Emmys red carpet.
