In these dog days of summer, there's nothing quite as refreshing as a cool scoop of ice cream. Luckily, National Ice Cream Day is just around the corner, and your favorite ice cream shops are celebrating in a pretty sweet way.
On July 16, you can score deals and discounts at your go-to ice cream joints, from Carvel to Baskin-Robbins to Dippin’ Dots. But these deals aren’t just limited to the neighbor ice cream shop—you can also save on your favorite grocery store flavors, from Breyers to Talenti. Some of these promos are one day only, but others are running throughout the weekend or through the entire month of July.
So, whether you're picking up a cone in stores or having your pint delivered to your door, here are all the ways to satisfy your ice cream cravings this month.
Baskin-Robbins
From July 16 to 22, the ice cream shop is offering $5 off orders of $20 or more when you place a delivery order from DoorDash, Uber Eats, and Postmates. You can get the same deal through the Baskin Robbins website or app when you use the code SEIZETHEYAY. Use the opportunity to try out Baskin-Robbin's newest flavor, Sundae Funday.
Bruster’s
Forget ice cream day, Bruster’s wants to give you an ice cream year. For the whole month of July, the chain is running a "sweetstakes" to win an entire year of free ice cream. Just sign up for the contest before July 31—no purchase necessary.

On July 16, enjoy $5 off your Carvel order of $25 or more when you place a delivery order through Uber Eats, Grubhub, DoorDash, or on its website.

During a "two hour window" on National Ice Cream Day, you can get a free mini cup of Dippin’ Dots at participating locations. Check with your local shop to find out when you can cash in on a free cup of the nostalgic frozen treat.

From July 13 to 19, you can get $5 off your DoorDash order when you add two ice cream cartons to your delivery. Ben & Jerry’s, Magnum, Good Humor, Klondike, Talenti, Popsicle, and Breyers brands are all included in this deal.
Friendly’s
From July 15 to 19, the Northeastern ice cream chain is selling single-scoop cones for just $0.88. In addition, the first 88 customers who visit a Friendly’s on July 16 will score free Friendly’s merch, a Happy Endings Sundae, and Monster Mash tattoos.
Graeter’s
For the whole month of July, Sweet Rewards members can enjoy a single-dip sugar cone for just $1.53.
