We already know it was the the Year of the Woman. Now we’re celebrating the women — from the Women’s Wave in Congress to survivors around the world speaking their truth — who stood up to sexism in 2018 and said “we want better.”
But for those moments when nothing made sense, there were memes that brought a sense of humor to our lives. Here are some of our feminist favorites from the year.

ON WOMEN SUPPORTING WOMEN
When women come together, we can’t be stopped. Again and again, it was women who stepped up in support of immigrants (the largest fundraiser in Facebook history was founded by Charlotte Willner), democracy (the largest number of women representatives ever are headed to Congress), and more. By the way, have you heard about our feminist agenda?
