Summer is coming to a close and the celebrities on Instagram can surely feel it. They have been pulling out all the stops to show a bit of skin and bright color before we move into cooler temperatures. Tracee Ellis Ross is a prime example of the hot-weather reveal. While promoting her show Mixed-ish at an event in Anaheim, California, the actor stunned in a Marc Jacobs mint green slip dress, a cream Edie Parker clutch, and yellow snakeskin booties by Paris Texas. Her look was so megawatt that even Marc Jacobs left a comment on it, saying: “So glad you chose this dress—it’s one of my favorites from the collection.” We cannot agree more.
Alton Mason has been having a major summer moment, too. The model-dancer posed shirtless on a sand-strewn desert road somewhere in the United States—we’re thinking a place out west—and wore a floral-print babushka and Gucci sunglasses. (Not bad for stylish sun protection!) The chicest part? Mason’s fistful of rings, which included dashes of eye-catching turquoise.
As for those who ‘grammed indoors? Their looks were no less exciting. Diplo, who has been showing off some wild rodeo-ready outfits lately, is still wearing 2019 incarnations of the Nudie suit. Just before the VMAs, presumably behind the scenes of a music video, he danced in a ring of fire wearing cow-print suit. Of course, he wore a matching cowboy hat—aka the topper of summer. Far from those flames but still rocking a hot animal print was Ashley Graham, who recently announced her pregnancy. In an elevator mirror, the model showed off her growing baby-bump dresses in a leopard-print body-con dress by Ganni. She captioned the post quite simply: “Just a mirror mood.” How about that to get us all in a chic spirit for fall?
