Amazon has one of its bestselling TVs—the Insignia 39-inch Smart HD TV—Fire TV Edition on sale for $180 right now. This is the all-time lowest price we’ve seen for this model. Equipped with a Standard HD resolution of 720p, it has a great picture and is the perfect size for a small space. It lets you stream movies and shows from Netflix, Hulu, Prime Video and more without adding a separate device.
“This TV is exactly what I wanted for my office,” raved a delighted five-star reviewer. “It is small in size, but big on picture quality and sound. It was easy to set up, just like my other Fire TVs, and, easy to use with voice- or remote-control. I have had no issues using the TV with Amazon Prime and all of the other apps I installed to stream television, movies and music.”

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A, a 10-inch tablet that’s the first real alternative to the iPad, is on sale for just $226 right now ($54 off)—a fraction of the cost of an iPad. Its 10-inch display has a full HD widescreen for immersive viewing (the iPad is not widescreen at all). It’s just over a pound, and boasts 64GB of storage—expandable up to a whopping 512GB via microSD card; the entry level iPad has only 32GB of storage, which is not expandable.
Shoppers who have experienced both have good things to say about the Samsung Galaxy Tab A.
“The iPad is bulky and, in spite of being an ‘Air’ model, it’s a bit heavy to lug around. And, as with any Apple product, eventually the battery life becomes ridiculously short,” wrote a five-star Amazon reviewer. “This Galaxy has been a lifesaver. The battery life is amazing, the tablet is lightweight and, because it's a tablet and not a reader dedicated to a single company, I have the Nook, Kindle, Kobo and Google Play apps all working well, so I can choose my next book from whichever library I want.”
