Curved TVs claim to add a more immersive IMAX-like experience to your living room — but do they really live up to the hype? Though there's a lot of conversation around them regarding whether or not there are any benefits of a curved screen and how they compare to their flat counterparts, most people would agree that they're cool and futuristic-looking. If you really want a curved TV, Samsung is the only major manufacturer still actively making them.

We did some extensive research to determine which ones are still available for purchase and are worth buying. Check out our findings below!

Samsung Q7CN Curved QLED TV (55-inch)

The curved display panel of every Samsung Q7CN 4K TV features quantum dots for vibrant colors and impressive contrast, and it's a great TV for gamers because of its superb motion handling.

4K.com said the TV has excellent color performance and strong HDR delivery, but contrast and local dimming capabilities were lacking.

The Q7CN runs Samsung's Smart Hub platform, which offers a rich set of apps, including the most popular video- and audio-streaming services. A sleek remote control and invisible connection cable round up the Q7CN series' key features. This TV comes in 55- and 65-inch variants. However, it is a 2018 model — so it's getting harder to come by.

Samsung Class RU7300 Curved Smart 4K UHD TV (55-Inch)

Samsung's RU7300 series proves that there's no need to wreck your bank account to own a curved 4K TV. The RU7300 has good picture quality, UHD upscaling, and access to popular streaming services such as Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Hulu, among others.

RTINGS said after testing the TV that it "delivers decent picture quality with deep, uniform blacks and good gradient performance," but wished it had offered more advanced gaming features, a brighter picture, and better motion handling. Regardless, the RU7300 is the cheapest ticket of entry to owning a 4K curved TV.

RCA RTC3280 Class Curved LED HDTV (32-Inch)

If you can't afford one of Samsung's top-tier curved TVs, the RCA RTC3280 is the next best thing. It still offers a wide viewing angle and energy-efficient LED technology that delivers decent picture quality.

It's worth mentioning that this TV only offers a 720p resolution. In case you're unfamiliar, a a 720p television has 1,280 columns and 720 rows of pixels. A 4K television, on the other hand, has 3,840 columns and 2,160 rows of pixels — meaning you'll get a much more detailed picture with a 4K model over this one.

If you're on a budget and want a small curved TV for a bedroom or kitchen, this one will get job done. It even has a built-in digital tuner for watching over-the-air digital broadcasts in HD.
