Founded in 1946, the Cannes Film Festival plays a major role in movie history. The event, which usually occurs in May, is an opportunity for filmmakers, actors, and celebrities to gather and preview new movies from around the world. This year, though, the festival was cancelled due to concerns related to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. However, that won't stop us from taking a walk down memory lane.
