Here are the best burritos in SF, Oakland and San Jose, according to Yelp

SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — April 4 is a big day for food lovers as it is both National Ramen Day and National Burrito Day. Ahead of Thursday, Yelp released a list of the best ramen spots in California, which featured two Bay Area spots in the top 10.

In honor of the day to celebrate burritos, KRON4 compiled a list of Yelp’s top five burritos in the Bay Area’s three biggest metros: San Francisco, Oakland and San Jose. We searched “best burrito” in those three cities, and listed the top five results in order, according to Yelp’s ranking.

It’s not much of a surprise four of the five burritos listed for San Francisco are based in the Mission District. Although El Farolito has multiple locations in San Francisco, the one that received the top ranking was the cash-only restaurant at 2779 Mission St. near the 24th St. Mission BART station. El Farolito also cracked the top five list for the best burritos in Oakland — located at 3646 International Blvd.

La Taqueria, located at 2889 Mission St., was named the best burrito in the nation by FiveThirtyEight. It is regarded as one of the must-visit eateries for anyone coming to San Francisco.
