When putting together this list, our team at BikeMag decided that anything under $1200 would be considered 'Budget' while also trying to make sure that we didn't include any knockoff or ultra-cheap bikes that wouldn't last. But don't wait too long, because many of these deals won't last into the New Year.

Despite the low price tag, the bike still comes with a Shimano 7-speed drivetrain, and a Bafang rear-hub motor and weighs only 36 lbs, making it one of the lightest bikes on this list. While it doesn't come with integrated lights or fenders, this would be a great fair-weather bike for those wanting to try out an electric bike for the first time.

We couldn't have a budget-friendly discussion without including the biggest electric bike company in the USA, Lectric Bikes. They have become synonymous with providing a great quality bike at very reasonable prices, quickly growing into THE major player in the e-bike market.
