Best Brands to Support on International Women's Day

How are you celebrating International Women's Day this year? Perhaps with a drink (or three), maybe with a nice hike, a good book? Spending time with friends or family? All are great ideas. I plan to toast all the women in my life with a spring cocktail (it's a celebration!), but today—and moving forward—I will also be shopping from businesses that champion women. There are so many fashion houses and brands that are women-owned, women-designed, and women-led, why not thoughtfully fill your closet with the best designs on the market?

As the fashion industry continues to evolve by embracing sustainability, elevating Black-owned brands, and continuing their long-standing collaborations with female artisans worldwide, it's still important to celebrate women who shine. The IWD's 2021 campaign is #ChooseToChallenge, and challenge we have, and will continue to do. Yes, being a woman can include fashion, fun accessories, and the newest lipstick, but femininity, the female experience, and feeling embodied and empowered as a woman is an experience that doesn't have a look or trend, it belongs to all of us. Let's continue to challenge the world around us, to make it a nicer place for women, and everyone. It's about time.
