It boasts a mineral formulation that uses zinc oxide to protect the skin from UVA and UVB rays. Multi Barrel Beachwaver in Pink Rosegold

Although I’m fully immersed in the beauty space, I’ll be the first to admit that using a traditional curling iron with a spring is tricky. Thankfully, celebrity hairstylist Sarah Potempa launched a new version of her iconic Beachwaver rotating curling iron.

LANEIGE makes the best lip mask in the game, so when I saw the brand launched two new flavors of its signature Lip Sleeping Mask, I had to get my hands on both jars. There's Mango and Pink Lemonade Swirl that smells like the sweet and tangy drink of the summer.

Like all LANEIGE lip masks, this one contains their signature berry fruit complex that’s rich in antioxidants, ensuring everyone’s pout is smooth and supple. There’s also a trifecta of hydrating ingredients, like shea butter, coconut oil, and murumuru seed butter, ensuring I wake up with the softest lips every time.

Blue Sandalwood Power Mist

You don't have to be a K-Pop stan to enjoy the BLACKPINK's collaboration with the Best Tested hand sanitizer brand Touchland. I only use their hand sanitizers when I'm on the go because the 70% ethyl alcohol content meets the CDC's guidance, every scent smells sublime, and it's a woman-founded brand that's easily accessible online at Ulta, Amazon, and Sephora.

It also utilizes Tilbury's powder blur technology for a truly weightless feel and matte finish, while an invisible film-forming resin creates an airbrushed look without the filter.

The lipstick's first ingredient is dimethicone, a major green flag in my beauty playbook. Dimethicone is a silicone-based polymer that is a safe, non-comedogenic moisturizer.

There’s Heat Wave for nights I want a vibrant pop of deep red and Warm Desert for a sheer, sun-kissed terracotta flush. Looking for pink hues? I got you! Thanks to this thin eyebrow pencil, perfecting your arch just got a whole lot easier. The dual-sided pencil features a spoolie to brush through brow hairs and reveal any sparse areas. The other side features a fine-tip brow pencil made from mineral-based pigments for soft, buildable definition.

Available in eight natural-looking colors, rating from Soft Black for anyone with dark brown to black hair with cool undertones to Blonde for platinum to light blondes with golden undertones, there's an option for everyone.

Plus, this is the only eyebrow pencil I've tried infused with nourishing vitamin B-5, which helps nourish and condition the skin. What could be better?

Sunsetter Setting Spray

Morphe dropped two new setting sprays this summer season, but Sunsetter is the most practical for warm weather because it provides broad-spectrum SPF 30 coverage.

Since this new beauty product relies on chemical-based active ingredients, including avobenzone, homosalate, octisalate, and octocrylene, it doesn't leave an embarrassing white cast behind.

The oil-free and non-comedogenic also helps protect the skin from blue light emitted from our tech, including smartphones, laptops, and computers.

Mini Hinoki Gentle Exfoliating Body Wash

I own a slew of body scrubs, but my current favorite is from Tatcha, an AAPI woman-founded brand that specializes in Japanese-inspired skincare products. The brand's new beauty product is a body exfoliant to keep the skin looking and feeling smooth like a baby.

I appreciate that it's made with refined cellulose derived from plant cell walls instead of microplastic beads like other cheaper body scrubs. The gentle exfoliant is also infused with cedar, hiba, and hinoki essential oils to elevate my shower into a sensory chill at-home spa experience.

Yummy Skin Soothing Serum Skin Tint Foundation

I'll be honest — I don't ever see myself kicking my Best Tested Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Foundation out of my beauty rotation. It's my 10/10 holy grail full-coverage foundation.

But when I want a soft, natural look in the summertime, this new beauty product from makeup artist Danessa Myricks will be my daily pick because it's lightweight and made with skincare-quality ingredients. East Coast summers are brutal, so the less makeup on my face, the better.

It boasts a radiant finish and provides light coverage so it won't melt down your face when enjoying al fresco dining. Plus, it contains proven ingredients to visibly smooth uneven texture (vegan collagen peptides), strengthen the skin barrier (ceramides),and hydrate the skin (cactus extract).

A-Shaba Complex Serum

I haven't met a bad Drunk Elephant product yet. The new A-Shaba Complex is a lightweight serum is another hit that combines three impressive ingredients to ensure my undereye area is brighter and less puffy.

For starters, it contains 0.1% vegan retinol to tackle fine lines and fight off free radical damage caused by UV rays and pollution. Next is 3% caffeine, an ingredient derms have previously told me helps minimize under-eye puffiness. Lastly, copper tripeptide-1 improves skin elasticity and promotes collagen production to help plump up fine lines.

My favorite way to use this new product is to store it in a skincare fridge and use my ring finger to dab on the cooling treatment.

DermInfusions Fill + Repair Serum

Dr. Dennis Gross is one of NYC's most-loved skin experts, so when he launches new beauty products, I'm tuned in and want to try everything right away. And as someone committed to not getting injectables because of my discomfort with needles, I was intrigued.

Essentially, DermInfusions is a Botox-inspired alternative that helps create a light reduction in fine lines and provides hydration right away. The results are noticeable, but not as dramatic as fillers — and that's OK!

It utilizes peptides, hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, and ectoin to penetrate the deeper skin layers that work overtime to hydrate and add volume to the face. Again, it's not an overnight solution, but with regular wear, this serum will continue to minimize fine lines and wrinkles, plus calm redness.

Peony Tea Glow Oil

I saw Lupita Nyong'o using Byroe products, so I ordered Byroe products. She's a fan of Byroe's undereye cream, and the company's latest addition is the Peony Tea Glow Oil, a hybrid facial oil and face primer.

Combining bakuchiol and peony tea improves uneven skin texture and eliminates pesky dry flakes, so foundation application is always flawless. There's also hyaluronic acid, one of my favorite moisturizing skincare ingredients, and glutathione to even out my complexion.

The final results: Glowing skin and a streamlined skincare routine that's the perfect base for natural, summer-time appropriate makeup.

Purifying Exfoliating Stick

Blackheads be damned. Made with 96% natural ingredients, such as hemp seeds, zinc, and Chilean mint, dull skin will be smoother, and congested pores will clear up and look more refined with regular use.

Boasting a smooth, creamy texture that instantly melts into the skin with a few quick swipes, it's like a pro-grade exfoliation at home without the bougie spa price tag.

Not only is the unique stick applicator extra convenient for traveling — and a welcome addition to the gym bag — but the container is made with two times less water than a traditional face scrub. The container is also 100% recyclable, which is always a step in the right direction.

Night Rescue

Eliminate dark spots on the body with this handy new beauty product from fashion and beauty influencer Katie Sturino. After the success of her signature anti-chafing Thigh Rescue balm, Sturino wanted to target another inner-thigh problem: discoloration.

Shaped like a tube of deodorant, simply swipe on the clear brightening treatment and overnight you'll start to see improved discoloration and a more refined skin texture. It can also be used elsewhere on the body if there are other areas of concern.

Megababe Night Rescue utilizes a blend of niacinamide, fermented clary sage, kakdu plum oil, and black currant and peony extracts to lighten dark spots. There's also a blend of soothing and hydrating ingredients we know and love, including mango seed butter, vitamin E, and grape seed oil. There's also jojoba oil to promote skin healing and squalane to neutralize free radical damage.

The Depuffer

Created by Instagram’s favorite dermatologist, Dr. Shereene Idriss, M.D., The Depuffer is a roll-on treatment that combines science-backed ingredients with a roller’s facial massage benefits.

The combination of ash bark extract and arnica helps depuffs and reduce the look of swelling, so whether you wake up hungover, just had a much-needed crying session, or naturally tend to have a puffy face this is the new beauty product for you.

It boasts blend of glycerin to hydrate, centella asiatica (sometimes called tiger grass) to eliminate redness, and niacinamide to soothe tired skin and help restore the delicate skin barrier.

Face Renovation Device

I've tried my fair share of microcurrent machines, but NYC brow king Joey Healy's new beauty product is officially one of my favorites. His Face Renovation Device is like a HIIT for facial muscles that lifts the brows, cheekbones, and snatches the jawline.

It sends small microcurrent pulses of electricity through the face to help promote collagen production and plump up fine lines. This noninvasive microcurrent device can safely be used two to five times weekly.

Face Renovation Device is also the only microcurrent device I’ve tried with a wireless and battery-operated design. (Batteries aren’t included.)

I love that the beauty tool automatically powers down after 15 minutes of use, ensuring I don't overstimulate my facial features or accidentally drain my battery when I'm rushing out the door.

Refillable Glass Candle in Sea Salt and Soothe

Numerous beauty brands and well-known fragrance houses are launching candles this summer, but Good Chemistry's affordable candle can't be beaten. Beyond the accessible price, it's made with refillable plant-based wax and has a soy wick, meaning it's less likely to trigger allergies.

There are several enticing scents to choose from, including Sea Salt and Soothe, a summer-appropriate candle that combines sea salt air, melon, and muguet (lily of the valley) with vibrant notes of grapefruit and earthy oakmoss.

Each 9.4-ounce candle can safely burn for up to 40 hours and can be reused with Good Chemistry's biodegradable wax refilled. They can also be cleaned and store bathroom essentials, like cotton rounds or makeup brushes.

MEDITERRANEAN PEACH 15 Perfume

I’ve tried plenty of new perfumes and body mists over the last few months, but when I want my scent to last with zero touchups, I’ll always reach for Krigler.

As MEDITERRANEAN PEACH 15 Perfume’s name implies, it’s a peach-forward scent. However, there’s an unexpected brightness and freshness with a blend of lemon, honey, bergamot, sandalwood, and fougère, which is French for “fern.”

Although this is the priciest item on my list, each bottle will last for the better part of a year, especially since you only need a spritz or two to make an impact.

And if the price is still a jump scare, there are two other sizes to choose from, including the 50-milliliter bottle for $455 and the 2-milliliter bottle for $35.

QUICK DRY BRUSH CLEANER 2.0

Rounding out my list is the dry shampoo of makeup brush cleansers. This aerosol spray is handy for someone like me who doesn’t wash their beauty tools as frequently as they should.

It’s an effective product that’s convenient and simple to use — spray a little of the cleanser onto the makeup brush bristles and swirl it onto a clean towel or paper towel. After, the hairs look brand new even after using my bronzer and deeper eyeshadows with zero downtime.

TBH, it’s not a 100% replacement for traditional makeup brush cleansing, but QUICK DRY will help hold me over until then. And for anyone who is a pro makeup artist or fancies themselves one, it’s handy for when you have a limited number of brushes but want to use them to create new looks, like a chocolate brown smokey eye or dreamy pink look.
