Relax with a nice long shower and a new hair product. As seemingly trivial or surface-level it might seem, sometimes a small, simple "happy" can really make a difference in your daily routine, and luckily there's been no shortage of brand-new product launches in 2023 so far.
We've tried and tested many products this year already, and it's been an impressive bunch to say the least. From an "eye lift in a bottle" to an all-in-one SPF, we've rounded up the best new products of 2023 that have become fresh favorites we can't live without. You're bound to find something to incorporate into your existing beauty lineup.
L'Oréal Revitalift 12% Pure Vitamin C + E + Salicylic Acid Serum
If we could recommend one serum for those who want a quick, effective morning routine that covers all the bases without having to layer several serums and toners, it would be this newer addition to L'Oréal's line of dermatologist-backed serums. For those who are trying to formulate an antiaging regimen, vitamin C is one of the most important ingredients, and this serum packs in a concentrated 12 percent, along with vitamin E (another antioxidant) and salicylic acid, which promotes exfoliation of dead skin cells for a more radiant complexion. We can confidently say you can replace most of your morning routine with this serum, plus moisturizer and SPF of course.

Rare Beauty Soft Pinch Tinted Lip Oil
Rare Beauty always seems to hit the perfect balance, such as the super pigmented liquid blushes that have become a favorite of shoppers. Now, you can get the brand's newest foray into lip products with a tinted lip oil. However, unlike most lip oils, this formula is not quite as slick and offers more opaque colors. When applied, it feels more like a cross between a hydrating tinted balm and a liquid lipstick. You really can't go wrong with any of the colors, and we found that it is very long-wearing and doesn't require frequent touchups, making it perfect for events and long days.

Ah, eye bags—the torment that puffiness and dark circles can ravage on a perfectly normal day, no matter how much sleep we got. When we tried the formula, we were blown away by how pretty it sits on the cheeks for a natural flush that goes on creamy and stays all day. While all the colors are gorgeous, we found that Pink Pop was a surprising hit for a youthful look, while the brand’s cult-favorite Pillow Talk shade is so flattering. It's pricey, but standout enough to be worth it.

For a drugstore product and price, it’s hard to find a plant-powered clean vegan mascara, but we’re pleasantly surprised with this new launch. It has all the volume of the brand’s classic Lash Blast mascara line, but it’s created with a vegan formula with 100% cellulose plant fibers, aloe leaf extract, and ceramides. Thanks to the addition of sustainably-sourced maracuja oil, the gentle formula leaves your lashes feeling conditioned instead of dried-out, which is always a win.

Kiehl's Ultra Pure 1.5% Hyaluronic Acid Serum
Kiehl’s new line of Ultra-Pure High Potency Serum are just what we look for in a skin-care product. Each includes an ultra-precise concentrate of an ingredient inside a minimalist formula that is made with 10 ingredients or less. Our favorite of the serums is undoubtedly the hyaluronic acid, which promotes long-term hydration of the face and offers plumping properties as well. It’s a staple for anyone with dry skin or in any antiaging routine. One editor’s mother even claimed that it was incredibly helpful for soothing and getting rid of dry spots on her face due to eczema. Incorporate it into both your morning and night routines.

It's deceivingly hard to find a lip balm with actually effective sun protection, but it's no surprise that Supergoop!—one of our favorite and most dependable sun protection brands—came out with a balm that needs to be in everyone's purse or beach bag. We found that there was virtually no difference between this steal and pricier alternatives, and the Champagne Pearl is incredibly versatile. For a blushed look, go with the Rose Quartz.

You might not realize just how much product buildup and dryness on your scalp can impact the appearance of your hair, and this product seeks to refresh your scalp in order to achieve a healthier overall head of hair that feels and looks better. It's been clinically- and consumer-tested to strengthen nails in just one week.

Fenty Beauty Hydra Vizor Mineral SPF 30 Refillable Moisturizer
Just like the original Hydra Vizor, this new mineral SPF formula defends against UVA and UVB rays with SPF 30 coverage, wrapped up as a sheer and lightweight daily moisturizer. It’s specifically designed to work seamlessly with makeup as the ultimate prep step, and the brand worked for three years on a mineral option that would stay sheer across skin tones and go on the skin super smoothly.
