We like to think that there's nothing that a little beauty treat can't fix. Bad day? A new lip color might turn it around. Feeling dull? Trying a new face serum might be the answer. Overwhelmed? Relax with a nice long shower and a new hair product. As seemingly trivial or surface-level it might seem, sometimes a small, simple "happy" can really make a difference in your daily routine, and luckily there's been no shortage of brand-new product launches in 2023 so far.

We've tried and tested many products this year already, and it's been an impressive bunch to say the least. From an "eye lift in a bottle" to an all-in-one SPF, we've rounded up the best new products of 2023 that have become fresh favorites we can't live without. You're bound to find something to incorporate into your existing beauty lineup.

L'Oréal Revitalift 12% Pure Vitamin C + E + Salicylic Acid Serum

Buy at Amazon.com

Buy at Target.com

If we could recommend one serum for those who want a quick, effective morning routine that covers all the bases without having to layer several serums and toners, it would be this newer addition to L'Oréal's line of dermatologist-backed serums. For those who are trying to formulate an antiaging regimen, vitamin C is one of the most important ingredients, and this serum packs in a concentrated 12 percent, along with vitamin E (another antioxidant) and salicylic acid, which promotes exfoliation of dead skin cells for a more radiant complexion. We can confidently say you can replace most of your morning routine with this serum, plus moisturizer and SPF of course.

Rare Beauty Soft Pinch Tinted Lip Oil

Buy at Sephora.com

Buy at Kohls.com

Rare Beauty always seems to hit the perfect balance, such as the super pigmented liquid blushes that have become a favorite of shoppers. Now, you can get the brand's newest foray into lip products with a tinted lip oil. However, unlike most lip oils, this formula is not quite as slick and offers more opaque colors. When applied, it feels more like a cross between a hydrating tinted balm and a liquid lipstick. You really can't go wrong with any of the colors, and we found that it is very long-wearing and doesn't require frequent touchups, making it perfect for events and long days.

Ah, eye bags—the torment that puffiness and dark circles can ravage on a perfectly normal day, no matter how much sleep we got. Using multi-patented technology, this eye product acts like a temporary eye lift that de-puffs, tightens, and blurs in just 15 minutes. It's ideal for those who deal with eye bags or crepey under-eye skin, and the formula is specifically designed for daytime use. You're able to easily layer it with makeup for a tightened-up, fresh-faced look. Avoid tired or drooping eyes by keeping this in your arsenal.

Charlotte Tilbury Matte Beauty Blush Wand

Buy at Sephora.com

Buy at Charlottetilbury.com

Inspired by the sell-out success of the brand’s glowy blush wands, this newer rendition offers a matte finish for those who prefer less shimmer and more pigment. When we tried the formula, we were blown away by how pretty it sits on the cheeks for a natural flush that goes on creamy and stays all day. While all the colors are gorgeous, we found that Pink Pop was a surprising hit for a youthful look, while the brand’s cult-favorite Pillow Talk shade is so flattering. It's pricey, but standout enough to be worth it.

COVERGIRL Lash Blast Cleantopia Mascara

Buy at Walmart.com

Buy at Ulta.com

For a drugstore product and price, it’s hard to find a plant-powered clean vegan mascara, but we’re pleasantly surprised with this new launch. It has all the volume of the brand’s classic Lash Blast mascara line, but it’s created with a vegan formula with 100% cellulose plant fibers, aloe leaf extract, and ceramides. Thanks to the addition of sustainably-sourced maracuja oil, the gentle formula leaves your lashes feeling conditioned instead of dried-out, which is always a win.

Kiehl's Ultra Pure 1.5% Hyaluronic Acid Serum

Buy at Nordstrom.com

Buy at Sephora.com

Kiehl’s new line of Ultra-Pure High Potency Serum are just what we look for in a skin-care product. Each includes an ultra-precise concentrate of an ingredient inside a minimalist formula that is made with 10 ingredients or less. Our favorite of the serums is undoubtedly the hyaluronic acid, which promotes long-term hydration of the face and offers plumping properties as well. It’s a staple for anyone with dry skin or in any antiaging routine. One editor’s mother even claimed that it was incredibly helpful for soothing and getting rid of dry spots on her face due to eczema. Incorporate it into both your morning and night routines.

Supergoop! Lipscreen Sheer SPF 30 Sunscreen Lip Balm

Buy at Ulta.com

Buy at Orchardmile.com

It's deceivingly hard to find a lip balm with actually effective sun protection, but it's no surprise that Supergoop!—one of our favorite and most dependable sun protection brands—came out with a balm that needs to be in everyone's purse or beach bag. It'll keep your lips moisturized, while also protecting against harmful UV rays.

Kora Organics Plant Stem Cell Retinol Alternative Serum

Buy at Anthropologie.com

Buy at Sephora.com

One of the primary issues that people tend to have with retinol is that it can be irritating to the skin, even if you don't necessarily have sensitive skin. Now, you can get similar (or better) results without any irritation with a retinol alternative. Kora Organics' spent years trying to find a retinol-sparing serum that would achieve the same endgame without the side effects, and its resulting plant stem cell serum does just that. The milky dual-action serum contains five times the active power of retinol to smooth wrinkles and firm skin, while still providing a boost of antioxidant protection. You’re able to gently target aging without noticing any irritation. It's an investment, but studies show impressive results from real-life testers after just one month of use.

e.l.f. Cosmetics Halo Glow Highlight Beauty Wand

Buy at Ulta.com

Buy at Elfcosmetics.com

It's hard to beat a liquid highlighter whenever you want to add a pop of radiance to your cheeks that feels full of life in a way powder could never. These drugstore beauty wands give you the same glow as another much more expensive product on the market, but at under $10. We found that there was virtually no difference between this steal and pricier alternatives, and the Champagne Pearl is incredibly versatile. For a blushed look, go with the Rose Quartz.

dpHUE ACV Exfoliating Scalp Detox

Buy at Ulta.com

Buy at Dphue.com

You might not realize just how much product buildup and dryness on your scalp can impact the appearance of your hair, and this product seeks to refresh your scalp in order to achieve a healthier overall head of hair that feels and looks better. It gently exfoliates and gets rid of excess oil and product buildup that might be leaving your roots falling flat. The best part, in our opinion: the apple cider vinegar. Upon testing, we instantly noticed how soft and shiny it makes your hair even on the first use. We recommend using at least once weekly, especially if you're a frequent dry shampoo user.

Fenty Beauty Hydra Vizor Mineral SPF 30 Refillable Moisturizer

Just like the original Hydra Vizor, this new mineral SPF formula defends against UVA and UVB rays with SPF 30 coverage, wrapped up as a sheer and lightweight daily moisturizer. It’s specifically designed to work seamlessly with makeup as the ultimate prep step, and the brand worked for three years on a mineral option that would stay sheer across skin tones and go on the skin super smoothly. While we haven’t tried the new formula, the original remains one of our highly recommended sunscreens to wear with makeup—so we have high hopes!

Renée Rouleau Better Than Balm

Buy at Reneerouleau.com

It's become increasingly clear that everyone should be following a double-cleanse strategy for making sure your face gets completely cleansed, rid of makeup, and prepped for skin-care. However, some people might find it too time-consuming or bothersome to have two different cleansers on hand. Well, not anymore! This new launch by Renée Rouleau works as a two-in-one to eliminate the double-cleansing dilemma. It acts as both a cleansing balm to remove makeup thoroughly, as well as a milky gel that won't leave behind the oily residue that many balms do. Cleansing is an important step to any routine, and this will set you up for success. It's pricey, but a little goes a long way.
