The Best Beauty Instagrams of the Week: Hailey Bieber Thinks Pink (and More!)
The winter winds may be kicking up around the country, but several of this week's best beauty Instagrams offered an antidote to unkempt glamour in the form of not-one-hair-astray sleek. The bar was set by Hailey (Baldwin) Bieber, who Pat McGrath captured backstage at Versace's pre-fall 2019 show—the designer's first in New York City. Along with a pale pink pout and several swipes of mascara, Bieber's blonde skewed stylized at the crown, slicked and finished in a gilded barrette before falling in lengths as luminous as her complexion. Next came Paloma Elsesser, who opted for half up hair secured by Alexander Wang's cultish claw clip, and Margot Robbie, whose low-slung ponytail made the case for beauty notes that mold modern and classical—particularly when coupled with a rose-pressed pout.
Not in want of polish? There's something to be said for the alternate route, too. Zoë Kravitz celebrated thirty with a naked complexion and artfully unraveled lengths, augmented by a beanie and a few partial baby braids, while model Delfina Blaquier carried off a sweet mother/daughter moment in summery guise, strawberry pouts and mussed, abbreviated blonde struck through with bangs and straw toppers. And those in favor of skipping the season altogether would do well to make like Cass Bird: simply collect your wave-ready crew and retreat to the beach.
