Steam runs dozens of big sales every year, some general and some a lot more specific. Among those more specific sales are publisher sales, and anime fans will get a kick out of the current one. Bandai Namco is holding a huge publisher sale on Steam at the moment (and smaller sales on consoles, too), with almost all of its games having some kind of discount.

We had a good look through the list to come up with a few suggestions for the best anime games in Bandai Namco’s Steam sale, and we highly recommend you pick some of these up if you haven’t played them already.

Digimon Survive — $29.99 (50% off)

<p>Bandai Namco</p>

Bandai Namco

Digimon Survive will make you cry, but you should absolutely still play it. It’s a bit of an odd game in the rich history that is Digimon games, being about 80% visual novel and 20% turn-based tactical RPG — think Fire Emblem with significantly more story. The game is a little bit rough on Nintendo Switch, but it’s absolutely fantastic on PC, and runs like a dream on the Steam Deck.

God Eater Trilogy — $13.66 (88% off)

Bandai Namco

We cannot stress enough how absurd of a deal this is. Under $14 for three absolutely fantastic multiplayer Monster Hunter-ish games? You have to be willing to put up with a lot of silly anime nonsense to enjoy the God Eater games, but if you grab a friend or three and play through them all together, you’re bound to have a great time. And just for reference — God Eater 2, by itself, is currently more expensive than grabbing the entire trilogy in this bundle. You’ve got nothing to lose.

Super Robot Wars 30 $29.99 (50% off)

<p>Bandai Namco</p>

Bandai Namco

If you love mech anime, this is absolutely the game for you. Super Robot Wars 30 is a celebration of a long-running series that, up until recently, was exclusive to Japan. The game includes dozens of characters and mechs from a bunch of different mech anime, including half a dozen Gundam series, Code Geass, SSSS.Gridman, Mazinger Z: Infinity, and so much more. It’s a tactical RPG, but the main draw really is seeing all of these incredible characters and mechs all in one place.

Bandai Namco

Want a soulslike with the most anime nonsense you can possibly muster? Check out Code Vein. This tough-as-nails soulslike that may or may not be set in the world of God Eater features incredible character customization, full co-op multiplayer, exciting vampiric blood powers, and some of the most ridiculous weapons you’ll ever use in a soulslike. What’s not to love?

Scarlet Nexus $11.99 (80% off)

<p>Bandai Namco</p>

Bandai Namco

Scarlet Nexus is an action RPG that follows the story of an elite force of psychokinetic heroes. There are two playable characters, each with their own story to follow and unique skills and abilities, and even more extras for players who play through both stories. The combat is fast, fluid, and flashy, making you feel absolutely incredible as you lift dumpsters from the surrounds and hurl them at enemies from afar. It probably isn’t worth it at full price, but for twelve bucks? You can’t go wrong.

Dragon Ball FighterZ (85% off)

If you don’t know what Dragon Ball FighterZ is, you’ve probably been living under a rock. It’s one of the best fighting games ever made, developed by Arc System Works, one of the best fighting game developers on the planet. There are so many incredible characters to play as, including Majin Buu, the best Dragon Ball character, and pretty much all of the DLC characters are on sale at the moment too. Fair warning though, there are like 40 different Gokus in there.
