Benji Madden Posted a Rare Message About Cameron Diaz and Their Daughter for Mother’s Day
Benji Madden and Cameron Diaz are a fiercely private celebrity couple, but they do let us in every once in a while—mostly, on their terms.
Like this past Mother’s Day (May 10), when Madden posted a rare message about Diaz and their daughter, Raddix Chloe Wildflower Madden, whose arrival they announced in January.
“Best Wishes for All the Mother’s, we’re all lucky to have you 💐It’s special day for us this year, Forever grateful to my wife for making me a Father, and taking such good care of us everyday. Best Mom and Wife and Friend. Wether [sic] waking up extra early to take care of everyone (3 humans and a dozen animals) or doing all the research and reading to make sure we try our best to be good parents for our daughter, she’s a force of nature and I’m very grateful,” Madden wrote to Instagram. “6 years together just get more meaningful and true love each day. What a blessing. For me, I think wise to remind ourselves everyday, when we have a rare special person like this in our life, not to be the foolish person who takes it for granted.
“Fact is, No matter what happens at work, or what the world thinks/says, Cherish the Mothers and you can’t lose,” Madden continued. “Everything else you’ll be able to figure out- Happy home is worth more than Gold🙏 Thank G-D for Moms❤️❤️❤️Happy Mother’s Day ❤️🙏❤️🙏❤️🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷❤️❤️❤️😍😍😍😍😍😍"
We shouldn’t be holding our breath for photos of Raddix, though. In their post announcing her birth, Madden and Diaz wrote, “While we are overjoyed to share this news, we also feel a strong instinct to protect our little one’s privacy. So we won’t be posting pictures or sharing any more details, other than the fact that she is really really cute. Some would even say RAD.”
“He’s just my partner in life, in everything,” Cameron Diaz told People about Benji Madden back in June 2019. “I’ve never had anyone who supported me so much and gave me so much courage to be myself and to really explore myself.”
Even during quarantine, they have their schedules lined up nicely. “Benji wants to go to bed late, and I like to go to bed early…that works so well for us as parents. I can go to bed a few hours early and he does those later feeds with her,” she said during a recent Instagram Live with her good friend and makeup artist Gucci Westman. “I can wake up early and be with her in the morning and he can sleep.”
