Ben Soleimani's New NYC Showroom Will Stock Thousands of Antique Rugs
After opening its first showroom in Los Angeles a few years ago, Ben Soleimani is expanding to the East Coast! The iconic rug and luxury furniture retailer is opening a flagship showroom in New York City this December, where anyone can walk in and shop the brand’s endless offerings.
Located at 601 Madison Avenue in the former Emporio Armani headquarters, the 1,200-square-foot store will span three floors and stock all kinds of pieces from the Ben Soleimani line—including thousands of antique rugs. It’ll also offer hand-knotted contemporary rugs, furnishings, lighting, textiles, and decor. The best part? Nearly all of the pieces in the showroom will be in stock, meaning shoppers can order on the spot and the pieces will be shipped to them from the retailer’s warehouse in California.
"New York is the center of the world, and Madison and 57th is the center of New York for high-end retail,” Ben Soleimani tells House Beautiful. “New Yorkers are sophisticated, worldly, and they travel—they know our brand."
At the showroom, complimentary design services will also be available. Interior design consultants can help guests with everything from an initial sketch to installation. Shoppers or the retailer’s trade clientele can also work with the in-store bespoke design atelier to fashion one-of-a-kind furniture pieces or rugs.
The New York opening comes first as part of 10 to 15 more planned openings, with Chicago and Miami following suit.
