Ben & Jerry's Has A New Ice Cream Topped With Chocolate Ganache And Mini Peanut Butter Cups
The best part about Ben & Jerry's is that each pint is basically its own little ice cream sundae. You don't need any syrup, any toppings, or anything else really to make it delicious. But just say you wanted to go over the top and add something, well, you DEFINITELY need their new line of ice creams, then, you wild one!!!!
Ben & Jerry's announced a new line of ice creams today called "Topped." It's made up of seven different ice cream flavors that are each covered with a velvety layer of chocolate ganache with chunks of other goodness too! Seriously, no matter what kind of flavor profile you enjoy you'll find something great here.
Whiskey Biz seems to be a crowd fave so far! It's made with a brown butter bourbon ice cream with blonde brownies and whiskey caramel swirls topped with white chocolatey ganache and white fudge chunks. It tastes authentic because it is! It was made in partnership with Vermont's WhistlePig Whiskey and their award-winning six-year whiskey (WhistlePig PiggyBack Rye) cooked right into the caramel swirls. So good.
Having tried them all, we think you'll also love PB Over the Top, which is made with chocolate ice cream with peanut butter swirls & peanut butter cups topped with mini peanut butter cups & chocolatey ganache. YES, I said TOPPED WITH MINI PEANUT BUTTER CUPS. Another winner (OK, they're all winners!) is Chocolate Caramel Cookie Dough, made with chocolate ice cream with caramel swirls and gobs of chocolate chip cookie dough topped with caramel cups & chocolatey ganache. Next up is Salted Caramel Brownie which features vanilla ice cream with salted caramel swirls & fudge brownies topped with caramel cups & chocolatey ganache.
For something a little different, try Strawberry Topped Tart which is sweet cream ice cream with strawberry swirls and pie crust pieces topped with white chocolatey ganache & candy sprinkles. Another fan-favorite is the truly funnily named Thick Mint, which is made with mint ice cream and chocolate cookie swirls, plus mint chocolate cookie balls topped with chocolate cookies and chocolatey ganache. Finally, try Tiramisu to taste mascarpone ice cream with fudge swirls and shortbread pieces topped with espresso fudge chunks and chocolatey ganache. Phew! That's it.
