I'm not gonna lie, Phish and Chips ice cream doesn't exactly sound like the most enticing treat. Namely, because of the connotation that it's ice cream that tastes like...the sea. But surprisingly, the new Ben & Jerry's frozen dessert doesn't actually taste like fish.

This treat is an ode to the iconic English dish, and the brand's Soho Scoop Shop in London is frying up its beloved Phish Food ice cream (chocolate with marshmallow swirl and chocolate-shaped fish) in a cornflake batter. It's served with pretzel "chips," a raspberry ketchup, and mascarpone tartar sauce.

"We've been calling London's Soho Scoop Shop 'home' for over a year now, so we knew we wanted to celebrate with our community the only way we know how," Ben & Jerry's "Flavor Guru" told Bustle. "We hope our Phish & Chips experimentation—hot and cold, soft and crunchy, sweet and salty—reels in a treat that will have ice cream lovers hooked!"

According to the outlet, it's available for a limited time beginning July 12. The ice cream, which is priced at $7.45 USD, will be sold every Friday (aka "Fry-day") between 11 a.m. and midnight.

We may not have the Phish and Chips here in the U.S. (ICYMI, it's a U.K. exclusive), but we do have Snackable Cookie Dough. Not such a bad consolation prize, huh? It launched last Spring, comes in regular and vegan packs, and is pretty spectacular. Not that we're surprised or anything.
