Ben Gravy: 'I Quit Riding Soft Tops for Good'

The Ben Gravy we all know usually ripes on soft tops.

The self-proclaimed semi-pro novelty wave surfer has entertained us for years with vlogging and shredding soft tops in all 50 states.

But now, Gravy's broken big news to the world: In the wake of launching a good old-fashioned fiberglass and resin surfboard line, he's finished riding foamies.

The video above was captioned:

"It's a dream come true to work with Brian & Chris from Algorithm to bring Ben Gravy Surfboards to life! I'm obviously joking about how I quit riding soft tops for good. Superbrand was my favorite hard boards I've ever ridden & it's exciting to continue to work with Brian in a much more open and creative space. We're excited to bring BG Surfboards to the world, all information is down below! Thank you for all of the love & support FOR THE DREAM!!! - Ben"

The video's about a half-hour long and shows Gravy testing out the boards and talking about life, surfing, and his relationship with Brown. Of course, you get to see him get barreled too.

The boards are the love child of Gravy and Brian Brown from Algorithm Surfboards.

Or maybe slightly different-looking triplets.

Either way, they've created three different board models including the Ben Gravy Barrel Cuda Surfboard, the Ben Gravy Semi Pro Surfboard, and the Ben Gravy The Menace Surfboard.

If you're wondering what each model will do for you, here you go. The Barrel Cuda is fish is "For the Dream!," The Menace is a mid length for "Novelty Time," and the Semi Pro shortboard is "Fully Nuking!"
