Ben Affleck's Day Date With Daughter Seraphina Proves He's Just As Incredible a Dad As Jennifer Lopez Claims

Based on Ben Affleck’s recent post-holiday outing with his daughter Seraphina, we’d say Jennifer Lopez’s previous claims about her husband being an amazing father are absolutely true.

On Saturday, the Justice League star and his 14-year-old were spotted enjoying a father-daughter date in Los Angeles. The duo hit a bookstore before popping into a pizza place to pick up an order of five savory pies, presumably for the rest of Affleck and Lopez’s blended brood of kids.

Their day spent browsing books and grabbing ‘za wasn’t the only adorable thing about the two Afflecks outing — Ben and Seraphina were photographed bursting with laughter and having lively conversation as the actor carried their stack of pizza boxes and his daughter held to-go cups and a brown paper bag. As they walked down a street, the Air director beamed at Seraphina as she spoke to him while wearing a jubilant grin — it’s a genuinely heartwarming sight.

The movie star and his teen also rocked similarly styled outfits, with Ben dressed in khaki chinos, a festive printed cardigan, and his signature Nike sneakers and Seraphina wearing khaki cargo shorts, an oversized t-shirt, a slouchy flannel, and Vans with long graphic socks — see the photos HERE.

During a May 2023 appearance on TODAY, Lopez opened up about her husband’s role as a father and bonus parent. The Mother star chatted with Hoda Kotb, who told Lopez, “I love looking at images of you and your kids and Ben because there’s a certain way they look at Ben… There’s such a connection.”

With affection in her voice, the “On the Floor” singer replied, “They love Ben.” Referencing his relationship with her 15-year-old twins Emme and Max, Lopez shared, “He’s a wonderful father and father figure to them as well. He has his own three beautiful children, and then there’s us, and he’s fantastic.”

Singing the Daredevil star’s praises even further, Lopez added, “He really steps up to the challenge of what [step-fatherhood] is and what that means, and they love him, and they appreciate him, and so do I.”

In addition to Seraphina, Affleck shares 17-year-old daughter Violet and 11-year-old son Samuel with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner. Meanwhile, singer Marc Anthony is dad to Lopez’s twin daughter and son.
