'He's a brilliant guy. I would not suggest living with him,' the actor said of his BFF.

Ben Affleck and Matt Damon have been friends for decades, but Affleck's love for Damon won't stop him for calling him out on being a disgusting roommate.

While on The Late Late Show with James Corden, Affleck painted a pretty damning picture of what it was like to live with Damon when they were starting out in their careers.

When asked by James Corden if Damon was a good person to live with, Affleck confessed, "Matt's a beautiful guy. I love him. He's my best friend. He's been great to me my whole life. He's a brilliant guy. I would not suggest living with him."

Apparently, Damon's issue was that he didn't know how to pick up after himself, seemingly being content living in filth.

Affleck, who also shared the apartment with his younger brother, Casey, said the siblings decided to go on a "sit-down strike" and not tidy up so Damon could learn to clean up on his own.

"We're just going to wait and see how long he will go before he gets up and goes, 'God, I'm covered in garbage,'" Affleck recalled.

However, Damon still kept up his messy ways, allowing the apartment to pile up with trash for two weeks. "I came home one day…Matt's there in his shorts, his t-shirt, playing I think it was the '92 SEGA Hockey game in the middle of what was the living room, just surrounded by like concentric circles of garbage, pizza boxe," the Argo director remembered.

Thus, Affleck eventually regretted the self-proclaimed strike, especially once bugs got involved. He continued, "I looked down at this sushi thing that was like a week and a half old and there's maggots. We were like, 'We submit. You are too good. We cannot beat you.' He just was like, 'Hey, what's going on, fellas.'"

Affleck jokingly offered blessings to Damon's wife Luciana for putting up with her husband's messiness: "God bless his wife."

He further quipped, "There's a place for you in heaven."
