Ben Affleck Reportedly Enters Rehab After Intervention with Jennifer Garner
Ben Affleck has reportedly entered a rehab facility after an intervention with his estranged wife Jennifer Garner, multiple outlets report.
Per Us Weekly, the intervention took place on Wednesday at Ben's home in Pacific Palisades, and both Jennifer Garner and a sober coach were in attendance. TMZ reports that Ben wanted to get help and agreed to get treatment, and that "the tipping point" for Jennifer came a few days ago when she saw photos of her ex accepting a box full of alcohol from a delivery man.
After the Wednesday intervention, the pair were seen leaving Ben's house together and, apart from a brief stop at Jack in the Box, apparently headed straight to the rehab facility.
Back in March 2017, Ben entered rehab for alcohol and opened up about the process, saying:
"I want to live life to the fullest and be the best father I can be. I want my kids to know there is no shame in getting help when you need it, and to be a source of strength for anyone out there who needs help but is afraid to take the first step. I’m lucky to have the love of my family and friends, including my coparent Jen, who has supported me and cared for our kids as I’ve done the work I set out to do. This was the first of many steps being taken towards a positive recovery."
