Ben Affleck Is Mistaken For Matt Damon In His Newest Dunkin' Commercial & We Can't Stop Laughing

Given that both Matt Damon and Ben Affleck are award-winning actors from Massachusetts, it seems plausible that someone might occasionally confused them. Well, that's precisely what happens in Affleck's latest Dunkin' ad.

In the commercial, the AIR star walks into a Boston-area Dunkin' and begins to tell two workers behind the register about his latest ad campaign with the coffee and donut chain.

"I'm here for the Dunkin' Run campaign, commercial. It's a great deal. A large coffee, a donut for a buck. I mean, it's pretty cool," says Affleck to the pair of perplexed Dunkin' workers.

As the actor continues to rattle on about the ad being meta and him being a "real actor," one of the Dunkin' workers interrupts to ask him a question: "Were you in the Departed?"

Despite the look of shock on Affleck's face, the worker continues: "I love him. He's had a really consistent career."

With that line, we know he's clearly thinking of Damon. It's at that moment that Affleck's Dunkin' Run turns into a full-on sprint as he swiftly dodges the awkward moment with his donut and iced coffee in tow.

And you too can get in on the Dunkin' Run (no awkward moments necessary). Just stop by your local Dunkin' and you can get a classic donut for $1, Bagel Minis for $2, or a Sausage Egg and Cheese for $3, with the purchase of any medium or larger coffee.

Although Matt Damon did not appear in the latest Dunkin' ad, Affleck's first Dunkin' commercial, which aired during this year's Super Bowl, did include a surprise appearance by his wife and fellow entertainer, Jennifer Lopez.
