Ben Affleck & Jennifer Garner Prioritize Their Son Samuel in a Heartwarming Co-Parenting Moment

When Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner’s son Samuel turned 12 on Wednesday, he got to celebrate with both of his parents! The exes came together at their tween’s school, and it just goes to show (again) how much they prioritize their kids.
Birthday Boy
In photos from the day, Affleck and Garner were spotted chatting together with another woman. The Last Thing He Told Me star wore jeans and black flats with a gray blazer. Her hair was pulled back in a ponytail as she chatted with Affleck, who was wearing Nike sneakers and jeans with a black jacket. They were waiting outside the school for Samuel to get out and seemed to have a great time smiling and talking together.

Page Six has more photos of the Argo star and Garner. Affleck was holding a Dunkin’ Donuts iced coffee in one hand in some photos (surprise, surprise!). In others, Garner holds a tray of baked goodies that she was bringing for Samuel’s school. It looks like such a regular family outing!
Co-Parenting
The Alias star and Affleck were married from 2005-2018 and share kids Samuel, Seraphina, 15, and Violet, 18. In 2022, Affleck married Jennifer Lopez, who is mom to 16-year-old twins Emme and Max with ex Marc Anthony. Ben and the Jens have been amicably co-parenting since then.
Last month, the trio were spotted together at a school event with several of their kids, and Affleck and Garner often go to Samuel’s basketball games together. An insider dished about their blended family to Us Weekly in Nov. 2023, “Their children [are] the focus of those relationships,” the source said. And it’s so obvious!
Communication Is Key
Last month, another source gave more details to Us Weekly about Affleck and Garner’s relationship. “They communicate rather frequently when it comes to their kids, scheduling plans, etc,” the insider claimed. “They know the ones who benefit the most are the children and that’s all they care about. They have a mutual respect for each other as parents and know how well all their kids get along.”
The source added, “They want to foster and nurture those relationships and will do whatever it takes to show their support.”
Once again, these two are co-parenting goals!
