Ben Affleck & Jennifer Garner Come Together for a Special Reason & It’s a Beautiful Blended Family Moment

Celebrities who focus on their kids after divorce give us all the warm and fuzzy feelings, and Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner’s latest outing proves they are on the same page. The exes got together Saturday afternoon for a special reason and were photographed doing the kid exchange.

The Argo star and The Last Thing He Told Me actress share kids Violet, 17, Seraphina, 14, and Samuel, 11. Affleck and Garner met up to watch their son’s basketball game at the Santa Monica Family YMCA this weekend, per Daily Mail.

They left the game with Samuel and Violet in tow, where they chatted for a minute outside the building. Affleck wore a “Jerry Remy Fight Club” t-shirt and jeans and spun a basketball on his fingertips while Garner said goodbye to Samuel. She was dressed in a mint green sweater over a white t-shirt with jeans. (Coincidentally, a look that was very similar to an outfit Jennifer Lopez wore last week, photographed HERE.)

Violet was also photographed at the game. She wore a white floral-print maxi dress with a light pink cardigan over the top and a white face mask. Garner gave her kids hugs before they split off to follow their dad to his car.

Earlier this month, Lopez who shares twins Emme and Max, 15, with ex Marc Anthony, was reportedly jealous over Affleck and Garner’s relationship. “J.Lo rages when she gets jealous or feels threatened, and Ben has been on the receiving end of her wrath,” sources told OK. “J.Lo has demanded that Ben spend less time with Jen and focus more on her instead.”

However, an insider told Daily Mail recently that Garner, Affleck, and his wife, J. Lo are in a good place. “One of the things that made [Garner] and [Affleck] get to a better place was — and is — J.Lo,” the source said. “Ben is healthy. The drama of the past and the emotions of divorce are long gone and they are all making it work.” Insiders added that Lopez and Garner are “friendly” and their kids all “love each other.”

Maybe Garner chose her outfit as a show of support for her ex-husband’s new wife! Or maybe it just shows how alike these two think — which is no surprise given their similar dedication to motherhood. Either way, it’s nice to see this blended family getting along for the kiddos!
