After everything that happened with Justice League and the cancelation of his solo Batman movie, the future of Ben Affleck as the Caped Crusader was bleak and uncertain.

It was later reported by Variety that Affleck would return to the character one last time in the upcoming The Flash movie, but now, it looks like the 49-year-old isn't quite finished with his superhero appearances just yet.

Thanks to a new Instagram post from Aquaman's Jason Momoa, we now know that Affleck's Bruce Wayne will also appear in 2023's Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom.

The update includes two pictures of Affleck and Momoa sitting together and having fun on the set of the new film, with the caption: "REUNITED bruce and arthur. love u and miss u Ben WB studio tours just explored the backlot alright. busted on set all great things coming AQUAMAN 2 all my aloha j."

A few celebrities commented on the post, with Josh Brolin simply saying, "Hahahahahaha," while Ian Somerhalder noted that the two were, "Fuc*ing BOSSES."

Momoa revealed Affleck's role in the upcoming film after a Warner Bros. studio tour hilariously spotted the two actors together on the Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom set.

The Aquaman lead shared a video of the encounter in the same Instagram post, in which you can hear Momoa saying, "well it's not a f**king secret anymore, is it?," before apologizing to kids on the tour for swearing. He shrugs it off by assuring them, "well, we tried to keep it a secret."

The upcoming DCEU film, directed by James Wan, also stars Nicole Kidman, Patrick Wilson, Temuera MorrisonYahya Abdul-Mateen IIRandall Park, and Amber Heard.

Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom comes out in theaters on March 17, 2023, while The Flash is expected to land a few months later on June 23.

After the cancelation of Affleck's Batman film, Matt Reeves directed a separate movie called The Batman starring Robert Pattinson as the well-known Gotham vigilante.

Warner Bros. confirmed that a sequel is in development at this year's CinemaCon, as reported by Polygon.
