Bemidji Sunrise Rotary to host Cinco de Mayo fiesta dinner
Apr. 30—BEMIDJI — Bemidji's Sunrise
Rotary Club
will hold a Cinco de Mayo holiday fiesta dinner event from 5 to 7 p.m. on Sunday, May 5, at the Bemidji Eagles Club, 1270 Neilson Ave. SE.
Attendees will enjoy traditional Mexican fare of pork carnitas, a grilled fruit and vegetable medley, nachos and Mexican rice, a release said.
Tickets cost $20 per adult and $10 for children under 12. Participants should enter on the east rear side of the building for the dinner.
Funds raised will go toward giving personal dictionaries to all third graders in Bemidji area elementary schools, funding a local Rotary scholarship for high school seniors and sending high schoolers to the
Rotary Youth Leadership Awards
camp.
