Beloved Jewelry Brand BaubleBar Just Launched Hair Accessories That Cover All the Latest Trends

It almost pains me to admit this as a black-hair-elastic kinda gal, but fun, showy hair accessories are currently having a major moment. Like, a capital-M, pause-in-the-middle-for-emphasis, capitalize the second M too Mo-Ment. Satin and velvet ribbons have been seen at the bases of countless red-carpet ponytails and braids, Instagram trendsetters have been stacking barrettes with reckless abandon, and even scrunchies' ongoing comeback got an unexpected extra boost with the help of Jason Momoa's wrist. But just in case you haven't been paying attention, don't worry — BaubleBar has.

BaubleBar is known first and foremost as a source of trendy yet super-chic jewelry, but occasionally it will shake things up with other kinds of accessories, like the personalized iPhone case I "hearted" months ago but haven't bought because I keep thinking I'll upgrade to a different-size model soon, or the limited-edition Hair Flair collection with wedding-perfect hair chains that launched in 2015. And now, the retailer has introduced a bountiful new range of hair accessories that represent all of the latest looks we've been seeing from Fashion Week to film festivals to social-media feeds.

The unnamed collection includes a wide range of styles, including bejeweled clips, colorful barrettes, fabric-covered headbands, and printed scrunchies, with individual items and sets ranging from $8 to $58. It's almost impossible to pick favorites, but if, like me, you're willing to try, here are some of the especially on-trend pieces I'm most excited about.

The first thing that caught my eye was the Annette Hair Clip Set($34), mostly because it confirms my belief that, yes, I can wear all of my favorite colors at the same time — at least I can if I'm doing it this way. And of course six acetate-and-metal clips can be worn one at a time if you need to build up to full-on stacking.

Speaking of stacking, the Emily Hair Clip Set($42) makes the mix-and-match barrette trend super easy. You get two crystal-covered bars in pale pink and a multichromatic mauve, along with a clip that spells out "HELLO" in clear stones.

When it comes to wearing ribbons in your hair, you could go the manual route and tie an actual ribbon around the base of your ponytail, or you can ensure that it definitely won't fall out by wearing one of the Renae Bow Hair Ties ($24 each). Available in four satin varities — pumpkin, black, leopard print, and snake print — as well as black velvet, the ribbon is attached to a traditional elastic hair tie.

One of my favorite things about the latest breed of scrunchies is that many have cute little knotted details, like the ones that come in the Morgan Hair Scrunchie Set ($38). The trio comes in black-and-white stripes, black-and-white polka dots, and leopard print — all arguably neutrals that can be worn with anything and everything.

The gorgeous Ladonna Headband ($48) has the look of a knotted fabric head scarf, but it stays perfectly in place thanks to a hidden wire.
