Bella Hadid's “Whale Tail” Exposed Thong Is Bringing Us Back to The 2000s

Bella shared the ultimate seaside 'fit from earlier this summer. Snapping a pic with a clear blue ocean as her scenery, the supermodel kept it beachy and bare for her Hot Girl Summer, hot weather look. The top is giving absolute piratecore, with a black bra hidden beneath an underwire white top with an oversized collar and puffed short sleeves. Cropped just under her bust, Bella's shirt gave her midriff a starring role in the bombshell outfit.

Keeping in theme with the neutral color scheme, Bella chose a pale pink, low-waisted slip skirt. Teeny black thong strings peeked out over the lace detailing at the hips, bringing back the ~controversial~ Y2K "whale tail" trend. Ofc, this isn't the first time we've seen her make a case for the comeback of a noughties trend. Just this summer alone, she's convinced us that rhinestone hip tattoos and stretch headbands should be a staple in our accessories lineup.
