It's Bella Hadid's world, we're all just wondering where we fit in it. One minute, the model (and beverage connoisseur) is glammed to the nines in a campaign for Versace alongside her sister Gigi. The next, she's wearing skater style like it's what she's done all along. And in her latest Instagram post, she looks like she's emerged from a chic shipwreck wearing a bell-sleeved, iridescent-sequined, mesh top that's almost more negative space than it is fabric. She paired the twisted burgundy top with an olive-drab skirt with cargo pockets (it looks like it came via time machine from the dELiA*s catalog) and a crossbody bag from Michael Kors's collaboration with Brooklyn-based brand Aysha.

Hadid's head-scratching look also included a bubble ponytail, sculptural earrings, and a choker. Of course, there was plenty of skin on display, not just through the shirt itself, but thanks to the low-rise skirt.

"Did a little thing with @michaelkors latest collaboration bag ! Two brands born in New York, inspired by the world. i Love this bag and i am so happy to support @ashya.co 💚," she wrote in the caption. Hadid has been a longtime model for Kors, starring in the designer's seasonal campaigns and walking the runway at his shows during New York Fashion Week.

The barely-there look comes after Hadid stepped out in an oversized Burberry coat and loose leather pants in New York City. Hadid has been spotted volunteering for The Bowery Mission in the city, though there's no indication that she's wearing mermaid-inspired outfits to help homeless people. She and her boyfriend, Marc Kalman, have been volunteering on weekends, according to the Daily Mail, and manage to keep it all low-key — which is just another way for Hadid to show she's got the range.
