Bella Hadid’s Hair Is Jet-Black Now

Bella Hadid has been all about hair changes lately. Last month she surprised us by going super blond—so blond, in fact, that it was difficult to tell her and sister Gigi apart. And now she's gone the complete opposite. On Tuesday, October 1, the 22-year-old model debuted a new hair color while in Paris for Fashion Week: jet black. It's honestly the perfect change for Halloween.

Hadid's hair length is also shorter, but that's not exactly a surprise. In mid-September, she stepped out for the first time with a new bob, which, again, is a great, chic style for the fall season.

Bella Hadid opened up to Glamour in 2016 about her history with switching up hairstyles and colors. "I didn’t really dye my hair to separate myself from Gigi. I started dyeing my hair when I was 14," she said. (At that time Hadid's hair was her signature chocolate brown.) "I dyed it black and blue, I wore eyeliner—I was a punk kid. I might want to go blond eventually!"

As mentioned, she eventually did go back to blond, but I have to say, I'm digging this jet-black look on her. The small sunglasses and oversized leather jacket that she's wearing in the pic above make her look like a '90s movie star. Winona Ryder is shaking. The cast of Beverly Hills, 90210 is stirred. The Friends gang is ready to offer her a seat at Central Perk.

I wouldn't suggest you get used to Bella's black hair, though. If her recent transformations are any indication, it's only a matter of time before she surprises us with another cut and color. I'm hoping for super long and red next. What, didn't you hear? Little Mermaid reboots are incredibly in right now.
