Oh, how we've missed you, Bella Hadid. After taking a much-needed hiatus from work and the public eye to focus on her health, the supermodel has returned to her role as the queen of street style and was spotted out about in New York City.

She hit the streets on December 13, in a classic trench coat, a large woven bag, a turtleneck, and sunnies. However it was her most recent outing on December 17 with bestie Devon Lee Carlson that has gone ultra viral. The photos have dominated Twitter partly thanks to Hadid's outfit, partly because it's her first ultra-public sighting in months, and maybe, in our beauty-obsessed eyes, because of her new darker hair.

While shopping in New York's East Village neighborhood with Carlson, Hadid was seen in a drool-worthy knitted set by Frankies Bikinis. The set, which is now the source of an internet-wide obsession, layered a gray cable-knit minidress over matching flared pants. She accessorized with a biker jacket, skinny sunglasses, and some black boots. Of course, she also debuted her new hair color in the process.

Freshly done by her go-to colorist Jenna Perry, the color is a few shades darker than the more natural brown shade she was spotted with a week ago, and almost impossibly shiny. All that accounted for, it's what we're calling a glossy espresso hue because of the deep color and shine. The color ins't quite dark enough to be black, but it's only a shade or two away. It also didn't have any of the lighter strands and streaks she had before—just root-to-end dark espresso brown, which she styled pin straight in a middle part.

Her look was finished off with perfectly manicured nails and natural makeup. Her nails were short and natural-shaped with a milky polish. For makeup, she had ultra-glowy skin, and glossy lips. She also jumped on the hot librarian trend (which she helped jump-start along with Miu Miu) and wore a pair of Y2K silver eyeglasses during the day, adding a quirky touch to her sleek look. Later, she swapped them out for a pair of wire cat-eye sunglasses.
