Bella Hadid and The Weeknd Are 'Working Through Things' Amid Breakup Reports

TMZ and E! both reported yesterday that they were told by sources that Bella Hadid and The Weeknd had broken up for the second time because of work and conflicting travel schedules. They could get back together in the future, sources told the outlets. In fact, it's quite likely they will. "They hope to get back together at one point but for now are focusing on themselves and their projects," E!'s source said.

Entertainment Tonight, meanwhile, had a much more hopeful update. It was told by a source that actually, the two are still together...but working through their issues. The problems TMZ and E! reported are there, but they aren't fatal to Hadid and The Weeknd's relationship.

"[They] are working through things like normal couples do," the source said. "The couple travels a lot, works a lot and that often creates tension. However, the two love one another, have lost one another in the past and want to try and make it work. Right now they are together and working on keeping it that way."

Hadid and The Weeknd have not commented on the breakup reports. Shortly after E! broke the news of their rumored split, The Weeknd posted a photo of Twitter of himself. "album mode full effect," he wrote. The post reflected what multiple sources told TMZ about the two's maybe-breakup: that "Abel has been hyper-focused on his new album and hasn't been putting the time into their relationship."

Hadid has not posted anything to her Instagram or Twitter.
