Bella Hadid and The Weeknd’s (real name: Abel Tesfaye) steady, public unveiling of Abella 2.0 continues: After refollowing each other on Instagram Wednesday night, the two are now reported by E! to be "exclusively dating," per multiple sources. It’s officially tabloid-official, you guys.

Tesfaye did NOT like the dating scene as much as he liked Hadid. "Abel realized once he started dating around, that he actually is still in love with Bella, and they reconnected," a source explained to the outlet.

The two have been "secretly seeing each other" since Coachella in April. "They haven't had more than a few weeks apart," the source said. "Abel flies to wherever Bella is working since he had a gap in his tour and has been very accommodating."

This explains his surprise appearance at that Cannes after party in France, despite his having no professional reason to be there. Hadid is an ambassador of Magnum, the ice cream company, hosting it, so it was part work, part play for her. Abella made out there and photo proof emerged of their PDA for the first time. (They were rumored to have been "kissing all night" at Coachella, but Hadid seemingly denied it with a Shaggy-inspired "It wasn't me" Instagram comment.)

The two have been vacationing together and were in Tokyo this past week for fun. They posted Instagram story proof they were together, even! These trips are their way of making the most of the time before The Weeknd’s scheduled performances resume, the source explained. He’s to play today at New York City’s Panorama Music Festival, so their latest vacay is over.

Abella's friends aren’t surprised they got back together, by the way. "Everyone around them always knew it was a matter of time, and knew the undeniable bond that they had when they were together," the source explained. "They always drifted back in the same places so it was a matter of time before they decided to commit to each other again." Will they get engaged in a few months, like Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas or Hadid's friend Hailey Baldwin and Justin Bieber? Or will they more reasonably wait a year or two before committing to spending the rest of their lives together if they even want that? The clock starts ticking now.
