Bella Hadid and The Weekend Skip Coachella for a Tropical Vacation

Coachella is undoubtedly a hotspot for celebrities, but two famous folks who aren’t partying and listening to music out in the desert this weekend? Bella Hadid and The Weeknd, who apparently opted for a tropical vacation instead of the Coachella Valley desert, and honestly, their getaway looks so amazing and relaxing that I’d probably pick that too!

Bella has been busy posting pics of the tropical vacay, including a cute pic of herself and The Weeknd in beach wear, captioning it “MIA on purpose.” Her gallery-style post shows pics of the duo playing cards, soaking up the sun, riding jet-skis, and hanging out together. “Will be in the middle of the ocean on a jet ski until further notice,” she captioned another pic series, this time of herself astride a jet-ski. (Don’t worry, she’s wearing her lifejacket!)

Of course, like Coachella, a beach vacation is the perfect time to show off some new outfits. Bella also posted two photos of herself in a chic white bikini, tiny sunglasses, and a headband. Yep, we’re definitely ready for summer after seeing this look, Bella. We also know that Bella and the Weeknd have been busy playing video games — yes, video games! Bella posted a pic of a video game controller, some pizza rolls, and a lit candle to her Stories, which means they’re spending their evenings on the couch playing Mario Kart. Celebs, they’re just like us!

Bella isn’t the only one posting about their trip; The Weeknd showed off their luxe digs on his Instagram Stories and posted a cute video of Bella bravely jumping off a yacht into the beautiful blue water. (He also posted a modern-day remake of Alfred Hitchcock’s The Birds, and we are living for it.)

While Coachella looks awesome and we’re living vicariously through everyone’s ‘grams, we wouldn’t mind sneaking off to an island with Bella and The Weeknd too.
