Bella Hadid Was Striking in a Sheer Black Dress at Her Surprise Birthday Bash

Yesterday, October 9, the supermodel celebrated her birthday with her boyfriend, family, and closest friends. The get-together came days after she wrapped up a busy fashion month with a string of high-profile runway shows and a striking performance at the Coperni show, which the Internet still cannot get over.

Bella was seen walking to Lucali, an Italian restaurant in Brooklyn, with boyfriend Marc Kalman last night. Upon entering the local spot, her loved ones jumped up and said, "Surprise!" The small restaurant was reserved entirely for the private bash, which made for an intimate setting.

For the birthday dinner, Bella looked stunning in a clingy black sheer lace dress, which she paired with an oversized black leather jacket and matching clutch with the words "Ciao Bella"—very race car driver-meets-Grease bombshell. For shoes, the model went the Y2K-inspired route, opting for a pair of thong sandal heels featuring thin silver chains. She finished the look with yellow-tinted rectangle glasses.

As for glam, Bella had a glossy blowout, bronzy makeup, and a deep maroon lip.

Bella's mother, Yolanda Hadid, and sister Gigi Hadid were among the guests at her little fete. For the occasion, fellow model Gigi wore a long blue denim skirt with a bleach splatter pattern. She styled the piece with a black turtleneck crop top, a matching leather jacket, and black leather boot heels.

Her makeup was rosy, and she pulled her hair back into a neat braid.
