Bella Hadid Has a Major New Beauty Gig

Supermodel and Kin Euphorics cofounder Bella Hadid is adding another title to her resume: Charlotte Tilbury brand ambassador. Today, the cult-favorite brand has announced that Hadid joins actresses Lily James and Phoebe Dynevor, along with supermodels-in-arms, Kate Moss, Jourdan Dunn, and Twiggy as its newest beauty muse. "I've always felt a connection to Charlotte," she exclusively tells BAZAAR.com. "I mean, over the years, of course, I've always known who she is, I've always known her makeup, and I've always known her energy. I that it was divine timing and our connection is so strong. The universe wanted us to be together here and, look where we are now."

Hadid first met Tilbury while dancing at an event for the Prince's Trust organization in New York City. "I just remember she was at a table right next to me, and she was standing up and she was dancing," the star explains. "And I was standing up and dancing at my table, and no one else was standing up and dancing. So, I decided to go and find my new dancing partner." Inspired not only by Tilbury's dance moves, but also by her overall work ethic, Hadid adds that part of what drew her to partner with the beloved beauty brand is its collaborative ethos.

"She allows everyone to have a view and a vision," the supermodel adds. "And, she is somebody that for me is such a divine light: in how she works, how she connects with people, how she is on set, how she has built this incredible brand and business. I just feel lucky to be here and to be able to connect through art and spirituality, and love for fashion and makeup, and everything beautiful in life." Hadid also attributes the new partnership to her relationship with Tilbury's niece, Sofia, who recently curated the star's makeup look for Beyoncé's birthday party. "Honestly, we fell in love the first time that we met," Hadid says.

The star also notes that Sofia made her feel beautiful—inside and out—on a day when she was feeling particularly insecure. "It's something that I take very seriously and I know she does, too. I'm grateful for her and her care, and her true love for the art of makeup but also, for the power of how you can feel while you're wearing it."

Hadid is no stranger to beauty. She previously served as the face of Christian Dior makeup starting in 2016, and has starred in fragrance campaigns for Versace's Dylan Blue, Bulgari Rose Goldea, and Goldea The Roman Night.
