From peekaboo turtlenecks to sheer dresses, Bella Hadid is no stranger to exposing her lingerie (or lack thereof) underneath her clothes. However, her latest see-through garment — a black mesh bodysuit with NSFW cut-outs — has many scratching their heads.
On Friday, the model left bystanders bewildered when she stepped out in the barely-there bodice, featuring sheer bra cups held together by a skinny halter strap and a slightly thicker strip of material across the chest. Despite having extra-long sleeves, Bella was almost entirely exposed.
From the back, it was just as confusing with criss-crossing pieces of fabric and ruching in the middle.
Hadid paired the revealing top with a modest pair of pleated pants, in which she exposed a matching black thong above the waist, strappy sandals, and a mask in hand.
She pulled her hair back into a '90s-inspired updo with her bangs swept to the side, revealing oversized hoop earrings.

The Daily Mail reports that Bella was on her way to rehearsals for the 2020 MTV Video Music Awards, and ran into her on-again, off-again boyfriend The Weeknd while backstage. The Weeknd is scheduled to perform, while Bella is slotted as one of the show's presenters. "They played it cool and crossed paths with each other, same place, same time," an insider told the outlet, adding that the pair appeared to be "on good terms."
Amicable or not, one thing's for sure: Bella's sheer catsuit just gave the the time-honored revenge dress a new lease on life.
