Bella Hadid gave her Y2K-inspired street style a preppy spin this weekend.

On Sunday, the model stepped out in New York City in a brown-and-tan plaid miniskirt—à la Clueless—paired with a mint-green turtleneck sweatshirt with a matching plaid pattern on the shoulders by Burberry. She finished the look with chunky black-and-white loafers by sustainable brand Nomasei paired with white ankle socks and carried a tan leather bag.

Hadid confirmed that early-2000s hairstyles are back with her shaggy updo and blown-out bangs. The Kin Euphorics partner accessorized with brown sunglasses, Missoma’s baroque pearl single-drop earrings and baroque pearl single-ovate earring, and various rings.

Boyfriend Marc Kalman joined Hadid for the outing. The art director looked casual in a pair of navy-and-white striped Bermuda shorts, a black sweatshirt from hard-core punk band Sick of It All, and Dr. Martens with matching long socks.

The pair—who have been dating since last year—recently enjoyed a romantic holiday in St. Barts. They were spotted diving into the ocean from the Eden Rock hotel. Hadid wore a blue bikini top and matching shorts, which she wore underneath a button-up. She accessorized with multiple gold bangles up to her elbows and layers of gold necklaces. Meanwhile, Kalman kept it casual in black board shorts.

"Morning jump💙," Hadid captioned a series of photos of the beach day on Instagram.

The getaway followed the model's presence at the 75th Cannes Film Festival, where she attended the screening of Korean film Broker, which won the Best Actor prize.
