Bekah Martinez Thinks Clare and Dale Were ”Almost Coerced” Into Getting Engaged

You know how Clare Crawley and Dale Moss met on-set of The Bachelorette and fell so hard that they got engaged after approximately *checks notes* two weeks? Well, former Bachelor contestant Bekah Martinez think that—while Dale and Clare are genuinely in love—they were coerced by production.

Speaking to Us Weekly, Bekah said, “I would not be happy if I was her….It just felt like there was a lot of spinning of what happened to make her [leave]. I mean, it was just so obvious as a viewer at the very end that the two of them were almost coerced into getting engaged. It seems like they really love each other, but that was bizarre, and I would be really upset as a lead.”

“I would be pretty pissed off. I would be like, ‘You sort of shorted me of a season that was supposed to be mine,’” Bekah continued. “But, you know, at the end of the day, I have to give it to Clare, because I think that she really was there for the right reasons.”

Clare and Dale are very much still together, but Bekah isn’t the only one who thinks they were manipulated by producers. A few months back, Reality Steve reported that The Bachelorette always intended to replace Clare with Tayshia Adams.

Since then, Clare has Liked a series of tweets saying she was forced off the show by producers, so it does look like there’s more to her time on The Bachelorette than meets the eye.
