Behold: A Journey Through Zendaya’s Entire Dating History

We are taking a trip down memory lane and getting into all the deets of Z's dating history, from her current romance with Spider-Man Tom Holland to her rumored 'ships with Jacob Elordi and...Odell Beckham Jr?? Let's get into it.

July 2021 — Present: Tom Holland

The rumor mill was b-u-z-z-i-n-g with rumblings that Zendaya was romantically involved with Tom in summer 2017 after the actors filmed the Oscar-robbed movie, Spider-Man: Homecoming. At the time, they wouldn't confirm anything, but (!!) a few insiders close-ish to the sitch confirmed fans were low-key onto something.

One insider ended up being *checks notes* Skai Jackson's mom, who said, “Yes. It’s true. They been on the low for a while” after a fan on Instagram asked whether Zendaya and Tom were in a relationship back in September 2018.

Obviously, this contradicted the "just friends" vibes Tom and Z were putting out there, since the Euphoria star legitimately said “we are friends” in response to romance rumors in a 2017 Variety interview. “He’s a great dude. He’s literally one of my best friends. This past how[ever] many months, we’ve had to do press tours together. There’s very few people that will understand what that’s like at 20 years old.”

Anyway! Fans' prayers were finally answered in July 2021 when the duo was spotted kissing in a car and, obviously, the internet collectively lost its shit:

2019 — 2020: Jacob Elordi (Rumored)

The actors were initially linked back in August 2019 after playing high school rivals in Euphoria, which filmed season 1 in 2018. To make matters more!!!, they were spotted vacationing together in Athens, Greece after being caught in the background of a tourist’s photo here.

At the time, an eyewitness told Us Weekly the two “looked like they were getting a little cozy.” 👀

Three months later, the actors spent Thanksgiving together with Jacob's family in Australia, and this was the general vibe:

While neither publicly confirmed an outright romance, at the time Jacob sang Zendaya's praises in a December 2020 GQ interview and gushed, “Zendaya is an amazing creative, you know? She’s super dope to work with. She’s an incredible artist and a very caring person to all of us.” But when it came to the question of whether they were dating, the actor said, “She’s like my sister.”

Either way, despite E! News reporting in February 2020 that “Jacob and Zendaya have been seeing each other for months now,” by September 2020, their (maybe?) 'ship was donezo.

2016: Odell Beckham Jr. (Rumored)

Zendaya was briefly linked to NFL player Odell Beckham Jr. by the tabloids en masse after they were spotted leaving a party together (which could have also been nothing FWIW! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ ).

Though everyone was understandably freaking out over the rumors their appearance sparked, Zendaya's dad entered the chat and set the record straight. Per a video posted to TMZ, the actor's dad said, “There’s no relationship. When you see my daughter out on a date without me, it’s a relationship. It’s like an audition. It’s an interview.”

2013 — 2017: Trevor Jackson (Rumored)

You're a real fan if you remember these two. 😭❤️ For years, people thought Zendaya and Trevor were dating after she appeared as Trevor's love interest in the music video for his 2013 song “Like We Grown.” Eventually, the singer returned the favor and appeared in the pilot episode of the actor's Disney Channel show K.C. Undercover.

Zendaya wound up talking about the rumored romance and said the following in an interview with HipHollywood (via Hollywood Life), alongside Trevor: “There’s going to be those [rumors]. But he’s my best friend in the whole world. I love him to death...That’s all it is.”

The singer, for his part, mused, “We laugh every time we hear it. I can understand why people think that because we are really close. But, no she’s just my friend.” Fast-forward to 2017 and Zendaya revealed in an interview with Vogue that she had a “first love” for four years...which obvi people read into and connected to Trevor.
