BEEF creator Lee Sung Jin is supposedly looking to cast Anne Hathaway, Jake Gyllenhaal, Charles Melton and Cailee Spaeny for the award-winning show's second season.

The Dish reports that the actors will be teamed up as two couples — Melton with Spaeny, while Hathaway and Gyllenhaal could reunite following their work on Love & Other Drugs. Casting agreements are yet to be announced, however Deadline notes that the script for a followup season have either already been or are about to be submitted, and that Netflix and A24 are looking to begin production by late summer or fall.

The show's first season followed a feud between Steven Yeun and Ali Wong, and it went on to win a total of eight Primetime and Creative Arts Emmys and three Golden Globes. It also just picked up the win for Best New Scripted Series at the 2024 Independent Spirit Awards.

Stay tuned for updates on BEEF season two.
