“The emergency preparedness fair is for everybody to get together on the emergency services side, to teach the public on what to do when there is an emergency, who to call, to not be afraid to call, and to reach out if they need help. The sweet treats side is everybody just coming together as a community,” said Tabitha Horn with Raleigh County Emergency Services.

Horn said this is the third year that Raleigh County Emergency Services has been a part of the event.

The event was from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. in downtown Beckley.
