Becca Kufrin Admits She Wants Michael Strahan to Be on ‘The Bachelorette’
The upcoming 14th season of The Bachelorette is already a highly anticipated one, and leading lady Becca Kufrin has an idea for how to make it even more exciting. In a new interview, she revealed that there’s one celebrity she’d love to see on the show competing for her final rose.
“Michael Strahan!” the 27-year-old dished on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. “I just love the gap tooth, just everything about him. Bring him in the limo! Game over, it’d be a really short season.”
Despite pointing out Strahan’s charming smile as a plus, Kufrin told DeGeneres that ultimately, what’s on the outside doesn’t matter as much to her as what’s on the inside. “Physical traits I don’t really have a type, I’m all over the board,” she admitted. “Personality-wise, I want somebody that’s honest and loyal, obviously.”
Kufrin made headlines — and got named the new Bachelorette — after Bachelor season 22 star Arie Luyendyk Jr. dumped her on national television to go back to his runner-up, and now fiancée, Lauren Burnham. While many people felt that the show shouldn’t have filmed or aired the breakup, Kufrin felt that she got something great out of the whole deal regardless (um, besides being Bachelorette, of course), saying on the finale that she “found love” with her BFF female castmates. Sniff.
Now that Kufrin has had time to move on from the split, she’s ready to move on to the next chapter of her life. And, even through all the drama, she managed to take some very important life lessons from the whole experience.
“Note to self to always wear waterproof mascara,” she told DeGeneres, referring to the emotional televised breakup scene. “It was on my forehead at one point.”
