Bebe Rexha is the latest celebrity to be hurt on stage during a live performance.

On Sunday, June 18, the "I'm Good" songstress was performing at New York City's Pier 17 when she was injured by someone in the audience who intentionally threw their cell phone at her, according to police.

In a now-viral video circulating multiple social media platforms, the pop star can be seen walking across the stage and entertaining the crowd shortly before a concertgoer pegs her in the head with their cell phone, leading her to fall to her knees, grimacing in pain and being rushed off the stage.

On Monday, June 19, the singer shared an update regarding her condition as well as photos of the injury on Instagram.

"Im good," she simply captioned the set of pictures that appeared to show a butterfly bandage over a gash above her eye and widespread bruising to the left side of her face.

According to a statement shared by law enforcement officials on Sunday night with Rolling Stone staff writer Tomás Mier, New York City police "were notified of an assault that occurred at the concert space… A preliminary investigation on scene determined that a 27-year-old male intentionally threw a cell phone at the 33-year-old performer on stage [Rexha], striking her about the face."

The NYPD's statement continued, "The individual was taken into custody on scene and removed to the 1st precinct for arrest processing. The aided female was removed by EMS to an area hospital in stable condition."

An arrest report offering further details regarding the assault is still pending.

News of the pop star's injury comes just a few weeks after rapper Lil Wayne canceled a show citing the crowd's behavior, a little over a month after Taylor Swift was praised for powering through an injury mid-performance and about two months since Kane Brown had a boot hit him on stage.
