Bebe Neuwirth Thanks CBS for Giving Her 'Madam Secretary' Character a "Beautiful Exit"
During an emotional episode of Madam Secretary on Sunday night,chief of staff Nadine Tolliver decided to take a permanent leave from politics to spend time with her family-thus marking the end of actress Bebe Neuwirth's four-season run on the show.
It isn't bad news for Bebe, though-it turns out the Emmy-winning actress asked CBS if she could leave the show. She publicly thanked the network on Twitter for accepting her request and writing "a beautiful exit" for her character. She also shared how thankful she was for her time on the show and all of the support she has been given following her decision.
