Today is National Pet Day and what better way to celebrate than showcasing a bunch of beautiful cats and dogs that have made a remarkable transformation, all due to someone deciding to bring them into their family.

Approximately 6.5 million animals enter shelters every year, and of those approximately 3.2 million pets find their forever homes. Some people find their fur baby abandoned on the street, some find them through a free pet advertisement, and sometimes, your pet finds you via the cat or dog distribution system.
