'Beautiful gowns': Lincoln Center Wedding Walk back Saturday with fashion show

Bridal gowns, bridal accessories, and bridal everything.

The Lincoln Center is preparing for its Wedding Walk on Saturday, April 27 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 374 Lincoln Center in Stockton. This is the fourth year that the Wedding Walk is happening after its return, according to Katie Drebert, Marketing and Events Director at Lincoln Center.

"It's for anyone planning a wedding. So whether someone is just starting the planning or looking to put the final touches on their wedding day," Drebert said. "This would be a great event to come and visit and preview the variety of vendors that we will have here that day."

Drebert attended a Wedding Walk herself before working at Lincoln Center. She has been married for 12 years now, she said.

"It's been a long time event," she said. "We had a bit of a break for a couple of years ... we recently brought it back."

There will be a mix of Lincoln Center and outside vendors at the event.

With 20 Lincoln Center businesses and 17 outside businesses participating such as photographers to mini mobile bars, Drebert wrote in an email.

Her bridal store offers a selection of wedding gowns, tuxedos, bridesmaid dresses and quinceañera dresses. She also does alterations and customizations.

"We offer a large selection of plus-size dresses and carry a wide variety of designers," the website states.

Brides who have not found their dream dress should attend this day, organizers said.

"New dresses at Sheryl Giles Bridal Couture range from $1,200 to $4,000," Drebert wrote. "She is currently running a sample sale on dresses and those are starting at just $300."

Aside from bridal gowns, there will also be bridal shower and special occasion dresses at the fashion show, she said.

The fashion show will begin at 1:30 p.m. at the brickwalk.

"It's a great way to preview just beautiful gowns and dresses that are available here at Lincoln Center," Drebert said. "It's always nice to be able to like see and touch and actually see somebody real wearing a dress."
