She was crowned the “most beautiful girl in the world” when she was just 6, and Thylane Blondeau has now won the title again at the age of 17.
The model, who is the daughter of French footballer Patrick Blondeau and fashion designer Veronika Loubry, took the top spot on TC Candler’s annual awards list. The results were announced in a video, The 100 Most Beautiful Faces of 2018.
Taking to her Instagram, Thylane posted a picture of the video for her 2.6 million followers, saying she couldn’t believe she had taken the title again.
“I just can’t believe it myself … thanks so much @tccandler and everyone who voted,” she wrote. “I never thought i was once number one !! I’m thankful to all of you. I really hope your having great holidays and spend nice Christmas with your family … all the best to all of you guys lots of love.”
Thylane began her career when she was 4, walking for the fashion label Jean Paul Gaultier. Photos showing off her piercing blue eyes and blond hair captivated people around the world.
At the age of 10, Thylane ignited controversy for being involved in what some considered a risqué photo shoot for Vogue Paris, which many branded “disgraceful” and “irresponsible.”
Since then, she’s made Fashion Week appearances in both London and Paris.
