Beautiful Blue Parakeet Checking on His Mom Is Just So Sweet
We all know that pets can sense your moods and when something is bothering you, and Hamlet the parakeet is no exception. Hamlet's mom Bridget Chant shared a video last week of Hamlet checking up on her, and it's so sweet.
Bridget is snuggled up on the couch, watching Gilmore Girls reruns. She shares that she's been feeling down, so Hamlet is checking on her. They talk back and forth a bit, and he walks up closer to her. The video isn't very long, so make sure you watch to the very end because it's the best part!

How could @Bridget not feel better after that? Hamlet is too cute! He was ready for his close up and wanted to get up close and personal to make sure his mom was okay. He has been her baby for four years, so he knows when mom isn't feeling well. It's just the cutest!

Many people were asking what kind of bird Hamlet is. He's a rose ringed parakeet, and he's gorgeous. These birds are very talkative and easy to care for. However, they can be noisy and want a lot of attention and interaction. Just something to keep in mind if you're considering one as a pet.
